Hot Shot is a cute young male Labrador Retriever mix who was brought to the HSOV on November 20, 2023 after he was found on Briggs Hill Road in the Belpre Ohio area. He was wearing a large wide blue collar but there was neither an id tag nor a dog tag on the collar .. And he was not microchipped. We hope that someone might recognize him. Hot Shot has a shiny black short smooth coat with a large vertical patch of white on his chest, a long tail, and an adorable face with hopeful trusting eyes, a black button nose, and large semi-erect ears. This little sweetheart has a happy, outgoing personality and was full of playful energy when HSOV Lead Canine Kennel Tech Jared Nash spent time with him in the lobby for photos at closing time on November 21, 2023. Hot Shot wanted attention more than anything else in the world (and naturally Jared and Volunteers Angel Grosklos and Jennie Payton Sherrard were more than happy to oblige). Hot Shot is a small dog who weighs 35 lbs. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Hot Shot will be held for three days so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Hot Shot, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
