I’m Irene! I’d love love to meet you, and anyone really! I’m spunky and sweet and full of kisses to give! I’m currently living with my puppy siblings in a foster home where I get a chance to spend time with adult and kid humans. My foster people call me a dogaroo because they think I look a bit like a dog and kangaroo cross. Oh, and smiling is my favorite! Irene is estimated to be 3 months old and 8 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Our adoption process begins with the return of our pre-adoption form, available on our website. After reviewing your application a meeting is scheduled between you and the pup, sometimes in the fosters home or at a neutral dog friendly place. If any resident dogs are in your home, it is recommended that the pups meet at this time. After the meeting a home visit is scheduled and if everything goes well with the visit the adoption is finalized at that time. A home visit by one of Safe Hands representatives is REQUIRED prior to finalizing any adoption and we must meet all members of the household where the pup will be living sometime during the adoption process.Shelter locationCome on out and meet all of our great adoptable pups!!
