Hi, there! My name is Izabell, but my people like to call me Izzy. I am a 45 pound lab mix, I'm between one and two years old and I'm spayed and HW negative. I'm also housetrained and crate trained, so I'm pretty awesome! I love pretty much everything and everybody. I like other dogs and always try to make friends. I don't think I've ever met a cat, so not sure what I'd do if I ever meet one. I love kids and am very gentle with them, but I'm still young and learning not to jump. I love to play outside and chase my tennis balls. It's great when my people throw it to me and I get to show off just how fast I am, but I also don't mind playing with the ball myself. I would do best with a fenced yard, so I can run around and play with enough space to burn energy. I've got pretty good manners and somehow know to chew on my bones and toys, but not other stuff - although I will pick up a stray shoe or wadded up paper towel here and there, and prance around with it. I'm okay on a leash, but could use some more practice. I love my people. I want to be around them constantly, love to hug and snuggle, and love to roll over and let them rub my belly for as long as possible. I sleep fine in my crate, but am also good at just chilling out in my dog bed or near my people's feet. I'm told I'm very funny, a little goofy, and have the cutest ears. I am a happy, happy girl and would love to meet my furever family soon and become an amazing part of your family. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. We require potential adopters to apply on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog.
