Izzy is a gorgeous 3.5 half year old pure bred beautiful female Norwegian Elkhound. This sweet girl was pretty camera shy during her photo shoot and these pictures don't do her justice. Izzy just wasn't so sure about the ladies aiming that camera thing at her. She is a petite little lady weighing around 40 pounds. Her precious face is absolutely gorgeous. Despite feeling pretty nervous she was so very sweet and wagged her tail for us. By the end of this session her sweet quirky personality was starting to shine through and these pictures do not do this petite girl justice. Izzy has not had a great life so far, living outside in a kennel- she has had all her physical needs met but Izzy deserves so much more and Critter Cavalry is committed to making sure she finds the perfect home. Izzy is a calm and submissive girl. She gets along with all the dogs that lived with her and just wants to get along. She is absolutely stunning with a darker face, ears and tail curled up when she's feeling braver. Izzy deserves a chance to gain some confidence in a home with soft beds, treats and toys. Norwegian Elkhounds are a fairly rare breed, known for their loyalty, intelligence and independent nature. They are also incredibly sensitive and bond deeply with their human and animal families. With the right family, Miss Izzy is going to come out of her shell and make someone a perfect addition to their family.
