Hello, my name is Jersey, and I am a VERY handsome pitty mix. I am a lean boy weighing around fifty-five pounds with lots of muscles! I am likely around a year and a half old so I'm still learning. I am treat motivated so that will help us learn new things together while providing me with some delicious snacks! While I'm still learning, you might consider taking me to some basic obedience classes. I am soooooooo very smart, I will be the star of the class! I haven't met a stranger, so I know we will get along. I am the life of the party so if you have an active household and lots of friends, I'll fit right in! My ideal home would be active, since I am still a young guy I would love to go on daily walks. I'm told we have a lot of great hiking trails around here and I hear stories of the beach, I'd love to go explore that place with you! I have met a few dogs while I've been here with my shelter friends. I do well with them, they might find me a little exuberant at first as I feel like everyone is immediately my friend. I guess not all dogs like that, so, if you have a dog at home and you would like to adopt me, I need to meet them first. I can't wait to make a new friend!
