Joey was 1 of 9 pups. Mom was dumped off in front of our property 6 days before he was born. Mom is American Staffordshire Terrier & American Pit Bull Terrier. Dad is unknown. Mom delivered pups with no problems and they were all healthy and progressed normally.DNA was sent in for breed identification. 9 Breeds were detected, below is the top 5:31% American Staffordshire Terrier25% American Pit Bull Terrier18% Chow Chow12% Labrador Retriever4% Siberian HuskySome other interesting facts the DNA revealed: We did not detect any at risk genetic conditions in Puppys DNA.We did not detect any notable genetic variants in Puppys DNA.Clear for 30 genetic conditions that could impact his early vet visits.We found 1 special shedding variant in Puppys DNA which is reduced shedding, occasional shedder.Joey is a smart, alert, playful pup. Joey weighed 28 lbs on February 7, 2024 when we got him Neutered. Joey has real light black brindle stripes on a sable coat and a blue nose. His eyes are green but maybe turning amber (like his mama's). His coat is very fine and short. He has black toe nails. Describing his coat coloring is hard for me, he seams to have unique coloring. I will get some better photos listed soon.Joey has been fully vaccinated with a series of 4 , 5 in 1 vaccine. Wormed twice, neutered, rabies vaccine, and has a County license. He had a vet checkup when he was neutered. He comes with his medical records and certificates and license. He is the "bomb". Thus far he is the poster dog for health.Joey adapts very well. He is very trusting. 1st car ride was positive, he loved it. First day to go outside, he was up and running. First day to eat solid food, he woofed it down like a pro. He is cage trained and I allow him and his siblings to choose whom they want to buddy up with at the moment. He shows no signs of "lifting the leg" but ya never know. He is pad potty trained, unless he's busy and forgets. We are working on asking to go outside. He and his siblings hangout all day in my house, living room area, and go outside in a large pen or run free on 2 acres. Joey thinks life is good.Joey has been raised thus far with love and patience and lots of kiss's. He is together with all his brothers and sisters and us humans.As far as obedience training, I am trying to get to it. Consider him a clean slate.I am open to questions and concerns.
