Hi, my name is Josie... I am a soft-spoken girl who can be a little nervous in new environments, but I really want to find my forever family so I will try my best to be brave! I am extremely sweet once I get to know you but my past leaves me a little wary of strangers. After a few treats and gentle pets, I warm up pretty quickly, and I hope to find someone who can understand that and give me the time I need. I am already housetrained and would like to find a family that is home most of the time as I really like having quiet companionship. If you have other dogs or cats at home, I could probably be ok with that. I am not sure about small kids though as they tend to be very loud and rambunctious which can make me nervous. If you do have kids at home, I would like to meet them before making any commitments as I want to make sure my next family is my forever family.
