Hi, my name is Juliana and MVPC took me and my five 3-week old puppies into a foster home, because let's face it. Shelters are no place for a mom and babies. I raised some amazing puppies (known as the "J" litter) and now I get to join them in my quest for a forever home! I am a velcro dog, meaning I really want to be with you. I like other dogs, and am learning to mind my manners now that the puppies are in their foster homes! We were DNA tested, and several breeds popped up, so I really am a fun, Heinz 57 mutt. I need a bit of time to warm up to men, but it isn't necessarily because I was abused, I just don't have much exposure to life! So I need a family who is looking for a sweet, athletic dog that can go on adventures and experience life with them! ADOPTION FEE: $175 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained)ADOPTER: Dog experienceFENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment)DOG FRIENDLY: Yes!DOGS IN HOME: Yes, can be soloCATS: Dog savvy cats, as I will chaseCHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $175 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! DO NOT USE THE PETFINDER CONTACT/ADOPT/INQUIRY BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those and you may not receive a response. PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding! Adoption fees may be more or less depending on breed, special needs, etc. This covers all vetting and allows us to take on hard cases. It all starts with an application. http://www.miamivalleypitcrew.com Our dogs are listed until an adopter is approved and a hold fee is received. Please submit an application for approval FIRST. You will receive a "received" auto response with further information. We do not adopt out littermates together. We are a 100% foster-based, volunteer rescue so we are not able to respond to every inquiry about a dog (though we try) and we will respond to a request for an application or if one is submitted through our website. Please allow 72 hours for us to respond, and please check your spam/junk mail folder first, then send us an email if you believe we have not responded! Since we are foster-based, we have no centralized facility to visit. All of our dogs live in private homes as members of their respective foster families. We require a physical fence for most dogs. Once approved, we bring the dog to your home for a home visit.
