Location:
Kennesaw, GA
Description:

AN ALL-ACTION PUPPY: Approx. 3 months old / Approx. 11 lbs. and growing Hello – I’m Katerra! Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control along with my sibling. I’m in a wonderful foster home, where I’m taking in all the love and attention that comes my way. Now, it’s time to find a family that needs some wonderful puppy love. I am up to the task! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I came to Mostly Mutts with my sister and we get along fine. I also live with another dog in my foster home (though I’ve not yet learned their cues for when it is time to stop playing). So, if you have a nice doggie that would like a very playful puppy friend, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / I haven’t met kitties yet, but I’m very young so I’d likely do well with them if they like puppies. / I haven’t met kids in my foster home, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me or that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a fun and playful puppy! I’m also quite curious about my world and will investigate EVERYTHING - shoelaces, hair, fingers, ankles, pants – it’s all fair game. My foster is working with me on redirecting to the things I AM allowed to have. I often have boundless puppy energy and rarely have time for cuddles – I’m just so busy! I do want my people nearby though and will register my displeasure for a bit if they are out of sight. / My energy level is 6-8 in my foster home, so I’ll want a family that will be active with me. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / In my foster home, I sleep through the night in a crate next to my sister’s crate without issues or accidents so far, so yay me! / My potty habits are a work-in-progress in my foster home. I’m still having some accidents, but this is improving as I start to learn the routine. I am also starting to give signals by going to the door when I need to go out. I will need you to reinforce my good habits and keep me on a consistent schedule so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: A typical happy, full-of-joy puppy, I love toys, especially rope toys and teething nylabones. Napping and playing fills my days in my foster home – then I often retreat to my crate for a recharge. / I don’t enjoy much alone time, so I’d love a family that is home a good bit. I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow. I’m also micro-chipped and spayed. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
