FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT NEEDED FOR MAGGIE! Maggie is a 5-6 month old, 40+ lb lab mix ready to find her forever home! Maggie is starting off her journey with a toolbox full of skills - she walks well on a leash and is crate trained and housebroken. She sleeps in her crate overnight and is used to being in there for a partial workday, about 4-5 hours. She is moderate energy overall and girl loves her naps as much as she loves her snacks. She’s very treat motivated! Maggie isn’t much of a cuddle bug, but looks to her people for guidance in new situations. She’s a growing girl and we expect her to be a large size as an adult. She gets along with lots of dogs, but not all, so it will be important for her and a resident dog to meet to make sure they hit it off before adoption. Slow intros are always recommended when adding a new furry friend to your pack. Maggie would also be content as a one and only. She is currently living with kids and just adores them so she checks ‘kid friendly’ on the list. And she’s a total hit with everyone she meets around the neighborhood.
