Labrador Retriever Mix Dog for Adoption in The Woodlands, Texas, 77375 USNickname: Winter Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 185.00. Winter (Now known by Winston) is a lovable character. He was returned to OPA at no fault of his own. His previous owner is moving and was unable to bring Winston along. Winston was mostly kept outside at his previous home, but don't let that fool you; he is a fantastic pup. Winston wiggles his whole body when he is happy and loves to be by your side. Winston is a little over a year old, so he still has some puppy energy. He enjoys the company of others. Winston is very affectionate and gives kisses to both humans and other animals. He gets along with other dogs and seems friendly towards cats and smaller animals. When given treats, he has a gentle bite and runs eagerly to his crate during feeding times. With some encouragement, he sleeps soundly in his crate. Winston is currently working on potty training and will need someone understanding to help him along with his training. When Winston is outside of his crate, he either is playing with other dogs, or is sleeping on the couch. He doesn't seem to look for trouble. Winston will be neutered on January 11th and will be up to date of vaccines. He may be a little shy meeting new people or in a new setting, but once he meets you, his personality brings a smile to anyone. Will you give this precious boy a chance?
