Melody is a darling mixed breed puppy (terrier/lab) who is looking for her Always Family! Her estimated birthday is 11/18 and she weighs around 14 lbs. Melody is a good balance of independence and snuggly; she loves to be close, but doesn't need to be on top of you all day. She's perfectly content napping at your feet or chewing on a toy nearby. Besides being heartbreakingly adorable, Melody is smart too! She has mastered 'Sit', 'Touch' and 'Go inside'. She is doing well on the leash, and loves to take a stroll around the block. She is constantly making her fosters laugh with her personality, which can be sassy but mostly sweet. She is a bit food obsessed (great quality for training!) and will loudly show her excitement when her bowl is being filled. Melody is doing well with potty training, and does her best to get outside to do her business. She settles in her pen well and sleeps there at night. Her playful energy is super fun, and she loves playing in the yard! She does well with children, but a toy to distract should always be close by in case she gets mouthy. She is a puppy after all! She engages in the typical puppy shenanigans, but is redirectable. Melody is an absolute doll, who has a great personality, sweetest face and best puppy dog eyes around!
