Labrador Retriever Mix Dog for Adoption in Greenbelt, Maryland, 20768 USNickname: Nico Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed. *** COURTESTY POST ONLY **** My name is Nico and I'm a 4-year-old lab mix (weighing 45 pounds) who is looking for some new cuddle buddies. I'm really good at chasing intruders like squirrels and rabbits out of yards and playing tug-of-war. But where I really shine is my cuddling skills -- I'm an all-star champ at nuzzling up as close as humanly (or rather dogly) possible. I love running around the yard as fast as I can, but I also love chilling out, particularly if I get to sunbathe in the grass. I'm a bit skeptical of people when I first meet them. But once you give me yummy food and some nice ear scratches, we become besties. I'm not only fully house-trained but have no problem holding it for long periods, and as much as I would love to hang out with you all day, I can also deal just fine with being left alone (but please play with me when you get home!). I'm very strong, so I usually wear a gentle leader when I go on walks so I don't pull Mom or Dad's arm out of its socket when I see a squirrel or rabbit. My family for the past 3.5 years would love nothing more than to keep me forever and ever, but they keep popping out babies and as fun as I think little kiddos are when I'm in a happy playful mood, I'm not a fan of them when I just want to chill. That's also how I sometimes feel about other doggies. So if you want a fur baby rather than a wailing human baby and are ok with me being the star of the show (alongside any older kiddos), my mom and dad guarantee from experience that I will cheer you up on your darkest days and make you laugh at all my goofy antics.
