Labrador Retriever Mix Dog for Adoption in Palmer, Alaska, 99654 USNickname: JAMESON Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Jameson is a very sweet guy who needs a moment to warm up to new people. He is improving more and more each day but he would benefit from additional socializing. We are so proud of how far heâs come! Jameson is said to be friendly towards other dogs and has not been reactive towards them in the shelter. For the most part he ignores them - he could potentially do well with a nice and calm friend! We can always accommodate a dog meet and greet if needed! Jameson has been none to harass cats, but has never harmed them. A home with no small friends would be best. Jameson did live with children in his previous home and was snuggly. Please keep in mind that he will need time to adapt to his new home and introductions should be taken slowly! Jameson is a very gentle boy. He takes treats gently and has mastered the puppy dog eyes! Once he has warmed up to you he will not leave your side. He will rest his head on your lap when he is wanting more pets and will sit right on your feet! Which we find to be so so cute. Jameson is well mannered too. He appears to be potty trained, walks well on a leash and knows a few cues including âsitâ, âdownâ, âstayâ and âcomeâ. Jameson is loyal to his family and very loving. He will be happiest in a home that doesnât require his people to be away most of the day! Jameson has been a pretty mellow guy and he hasnât played with toys too much. Though he is laid back we know he would appreciate regular walkies! He does enjoy a durable chew toy here and there. Jameson is truly a great dog and we would love nothing more than to set him up for success! If you believe your home would be a good fit for Jameson we encourage you to come meet him!
