ADOPT LeRoy! LeRoy is a 5 yr American Pit Bull Terrier! LeRoy is big on exercise and enjoys his walks, he would be a excellent jogging buddy. His favorite yard activities are playing tug-o-war and fetch with his humans. LeRoy is DTC (Down to cuddle) and is a enjoyer of the finest of blankies and stuffies. While he does really good with sit stay shake, LeRoy does need a refresher on his leash manners and has a tendency to tug and drag but he loves his training time ecspecially when it includes his favorite thing TREATS! We reccomennd a training refresher course upon adoption to help LeRoy be his best self! the adoption fee is $350 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission. If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee. It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member. *****We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel. If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to XXXX@gmail.com. Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal. If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home. The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster. If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit.
