Lola von Lottorf is a beautiful, 11-12-month-old German Shepherd. She’s a smaller-sized little lady with a striking coat, a lovely face and shiny eyes that melt your heart. Lola’s a leaner who asks: please pet me all day long! She’s a playful girl who enjoys meeting new people and new pups. Settling in at a medium energy level, she’s already mastered several of her commands. At walk time, she’s calm and behaves nicely on her leash. In her playgroups, she’s a relaxed and curious girl who enjoys exploring the yard and making sure to greet all her pals. Lola's housetrained, loves hiking and is good in the home and in the car. Another plus on her resume, she has tested well with small dogs and cats. Lola offers the whole package: looks, smarts, charms and good manners! Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog.
