Lowen has been waiting for a very long time for her forever family to find her! When will it be her turn? Who is willing to give this sweet girl a chance? Lowen is a 2 1/2 year old lab/shepherd mix with a beautiful brindle coat. She currently weighs about 56 pounds and is full grown. Lowen's mom was Chloe, the most gentle, loving pittie ever. We ran a DNA test on Lowen, and you can see all the results, but she is equally divided between Lab, Shepherd, and Pittie. Lowen is very friendly and loves to give kisses and hugs. Sometimes Lowen just wants to be a lap dog as you can see in one of the pictures! One of her favorite things is the water! Once trained, she may make a good running buddy, as her energy level is more on the high side. Lowen is potty trained, crate trained and is working on proper leash walking. A fenced yard would benefit Lowen so she can run freely to burn up some energy. Lowen has been going through a training program and has shown that she is extremely intelligent. An adopter committed to following through with this training at home would be ideal. Lowen is curious about cats, but getting more comfortable so slow introductions and a dog savy cat would be best. We are recommending that Lowen be the only dog in the home and any children in the home be at least 8 years old, only because Lowen is larger and likes to run around. A meet with Lowen can be arranged as she is being fostered in the CNY area. Let's give this girl a chance!
