Hi. My name is Luna and I have been waiting patiently for over 5 months for my new forever home. I am a sweet, curious, and sturdy 3 year old gal. I am calm and quiet in my kennel here. I love walks but sometimes I forget how strong I am. Obedience school would be so good for me. I remind everyone at the shelter to enjoy the simple things in life: rolling around in the grass, soaking up the sun, splashing in the pool and playing in the snow. I am always ready for adventure, but I also know how to relax and love a good snuggle. I absolutely love playing with toys. I have been around children and I know how to be careful around them. No cats or small dogs please- I think they are toys. As active as I am, I would still make a great homebody too. A big comfy bed sounds heavenly. I am looking for my perfect match. After an animal that is available for adoption has been met with, the animal’s name can be put on an application. Animals that are applied for must be adopted the same day or within 24 hours of the animal being placed on the adoption application. Exceptions will be made if any animal needs a medical procedure, but then will need to be adopted within 24 hours of being cleared from that procedure. HSSC reserves the right to accommodate alternate timelines for special needs/behavioral issue animals.
