Maggie is a beautiful 1-1/2 year old female Black Labrador Retriever mix who was surrendered by her owner on November 1, 2023 because she wasn't able to provide the care that Maggie needed and deserved. Maggie has a sleek black short smooth coat with a large patch of white on her chest, white toes on her back paws, a long tail, and an adorable face with soulful brown eyes, a splash of white on her chin, a black button nose, and large floppy ears. This sweet girl has a calm, easygoing personality and was a pleasure to photograph when HSOV Lead Canine Kennel Tech Jared Nash spent time with Maggie for outdoor glamour photos on November 3rd. Maggie responded to Jared's gentle touch and, like all of the HSOV dogs, she fell in love with Jared's kindness. Maggie was examined by one of our wonderful local veterinarians on November 1st who discovered that she had a yeast infection in her right ear. Maggie was treated for the infection and will hopefully be feeling better soon. Maggie weighs 50 lbs and walked gently on a leash for Jared.
