Maverick--AussieMaverick is a 6 year old neutered male. He is currently 43# and a bit heavy. He is social and friendly with people and loves to give kisses. He does well with older kids, but is very in your face and not gentle with young kids. No homes with younger kids that he can knock over or jump on. He can have signs of resource guarding with special treats. He has not offered to bite, but does get tense and tries to eat fast. Does OK with some other dogs but can be nervous with in your face other dogs. He does great with dogs he knows, but barks at unknown dogs passing his yard. He has been good with introductions to my polite dogs. Likes playing with toys, but will destroy stuffed toys. The owner has not played a lot of fetch with him the last couple of years. He mostly just hangs out during the day and is a couch potato. He likes walks, but is not 100% off leash, especially is he sees another dog or animal. He has not been raised with cats or small animals. He is up to date on vaccines. He is on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative.
