Missy von Michelfeld is a beautiful and very sweet 3-4 year old Shepherd mix. Marvelous Missy will captivate your family with her smile and can-do attitude! She is a calm and collected girl by nature and will stick by your side on walks. She enjoys looking around and exploring her new surroundings and would love to go on an adventure whether it be a hike in a national park or a walk around the neighborhood. On her free time, she does amazing with both dogs and people! Her eyes have that sparkle of curiosity, and we can tell she only wants to make friends. She is so sweet and nice to dogs, inviting them over to play. Around people she may be shy at first, but she warms up quickly. At around 45 pounds, Missy is the perfect pocket-sized shepherd to romp around the yard and then cuddle next to you for pets. Missy can’t wait to meet you! Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog.
