My body shows the signs of my age, but my spirit is young and loving! Hello, humans in search of puppy love. I am 10-year-old Motley - a 58-pound fella whose body has seen better days, but who has tons of love to give and live to live. My favorite thing is hanging with humans and sniffing new and interesting places on a leisurely walk. I am house trained, but I dont really like a crate. I am trustworthy and easy to care for.I have some health problems incident to my age - arthritis in my back, which is managed with mediation; dont always hear well; and mostly blind in one eye. I get a long great with dogs, and kids, and probably cats, but I havent lived with any. Id prefer a yard, but I could live in any situation if my human made sure to get me out and let me sniff and keep my mind engaged and young. Even though Im old, I am still learning new tricks. I learned how to use a doggy door, and I love laying in the yard in a warm, sunny spot. Ill do just about anything for a treat, and Im very smart. I love exploring, but I just do it at a slower pace than I used to. I love meeting new people and new pups, but nothing beats my favorite thing - curling up next to the humans in my pack.Dogs are not placed on a first come first serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process.All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $100.
