Meet Mr. Jack!We know, we know, HE IS SO HANDSOME!! Jack is also extremely sweet and LOVES belly rubs. He is great with other pups his size and larger, but hasn’t been around small dogs or kids. We do know that he isn’t a fan of cats though and likes to chase the small rodents in the yard. Jack LOVES to eat and is very food motivated, which is great for training. He knows his basic commands, but can be stubborn at times and likes to be bribed with a treat. He is house+crate trained as well, and does very good in his crate! Jack has lots of energy and would LOVE a fenced in yard in his forever home. If not fenced in, then an active family that would like to take him on walks or runs, hikes, and family vacations of course! If Jack would be perfect for your family, please apply! Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!Adoption processA potential adopter will submit a application. A vet reference is very helpful and will speed the adoption process along. Once approved, a phone interview will be conducted and the adopter will sign a contract. Transport will then be scheduled to bring the new pet home.Shelter locationThe majority of our dogs/cats are fostered in Alabama. We have wonderful foster families that contact all applicants to answer any additional questions or provide more photos and videos. Once a application is approved our dogs/cats are transported north to their new families. We use a private transport that is USDA certified and Licensed. All dogs are fully vetted and will travel with a Alabama Health Certificate and their medical records. We are a 501C3 rescue. We can offer references upon request.
