His only hope is that he find a human to love him and OREO will for sure give you love back. He weighs 14 pounds and still active, walks well on a leash and rides in the car well. I pulled OREO from our very high kill shelter as no one adopted him from there and he was in jeporady of losing his life. I did not know what to expect and wondered why he had been passed over. But found out he is quiet and does not jump and bounce around the kennel to get attention. I am so happy I rescued him. He has been a good houseguest and follows me from room to room just so he can be near me. I would really like to find someone who wants a constant companion and give this guy a forever home. He gets along with all of the foster dogs in my home, big and small. OREO does not bother anyone. He likes to snuggle on the couch with you and you barely know he is there. He is crate trained but I rarely put him a crate as he does not like it. I have a room that has a baby gate on the door and that is where he stays while I am running errands away from home. I think he would need to be groomed every 3 months as his hair does not grow out fast. If you are interested in OREO please submit an application on the website below. Each dog comes spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice. The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption. They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States.
