My storyHere's what the humans have to say about me:Here's what the humans have to say about me:Oscar is an adorable Rat Terrier mix who is approximately 3-4 years old and currently weighs 15 pounds. He came to our rescue from a pretty stressful environment where there were 80 dogs all living in a small home together. Despite coming from these overcrowded living conditions , Oscar is a sweet little dog who is learning what it’s like to get lots of love and affection. Oscar is a tenderhearted little boy, who does need a warming up period to feel comfortable in his new surroundings. Coming from the home he was in, he was not handled very much, so he is still learning that one on one attention is a pretty wonderful thing. Once he settles in and learns to trust, his sweet personality will start to shine through. He does get along well with other dogs, and pretty much minds his own business! Oscar has bonded with his care givers here at the rescue and lets me love on him and give him treats! Watch his new video! Oscar is looking for a patient family who understands his background and can give him the loving home he deserves. We do think he would do better in a quieter home with older children. Oscar is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $325. A meet and greet will be arranged with an approved application.
