Being a stray ain't easy and nobuddy did pick me peaches or pears, but honestly I woulda prefured Somebuddy to pick me bacons and hams. I was found alone and lonely, looking all marked up like Al Pacino in the movie Scar Face.Add a cat on my lap and a sinister cackle and I would look like a cheesy villain with a scar on my face, very Swiss cheesy. But I'm not a villain and Scars to Your BeautifulvSong by Alessia Cara teaches us that beauty comes from the inside. My inside had a challenge too, I was heartworm positive. Not anymore, that's all been taken care of. I was recently neutered and was given shots to kill the heartworms.Nobody will notice my scar face anyway cuz all your friends will be blinded by my cheesy smile. I'm 2 years old and have the energy and excitement to prove it. I'm in a compact 45 pound package. Most folks would likely identify me as a Pitbull mix, but really I'm a Heinz 114, that's when a Heinz 57 and another Heinz 57 have a baby.Even though I jump up for ribs, ha, autocorrect did a Foodian slip, I meant I jump up for rubs, not ribs, but heck, I'd jump up for ribs too. I will sit if you tell me to, I try my derndest to be obedient. I do okay when running around with other dogs. I'm leash trained however I gets excited to be going for a walk and pull some at first until I settle down.I'm crate trained and do very well in a crate. I'm also gentle when accepting treats. Yes, I am that annoying guy who can carry on a convo while jogging, so be prepared to take me running, jogging, hiking or jazzercising if that's still a thing. Life was hard before I was rescued and I can't wait to find out how being a kept man feels!GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and are current with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $400 for dogs over a year old, which also includes the cost of transportation to the assigned location. Medical records accompany each dog at the time of delivery and may be emailed to adopter prior to dog arrival if desired. Microchips will be automatically registered to the new owner after payment of adoption fee. The registration site we use is Michelson Found Animals which is free to use and update during the lifetime of your pet. Please allow 24-48 hours for the new information to appear on the website.
