Owen is an adorable pit mix with the the biggest beautiful hazel eyes. Owen came to us underweight and with mange. Despite his struggles he never lost his puppy spirit. His grumpy face may deceit you, but he is the funniest and sweetest dog who loves everything! Owen is the type of dog to make your days better, you will wake up to his affections in the morning, and he snuggles right next to you when watching a movie. Owen is perfect company for traveling and the best walking companion. His grumpy face and his unique run makes everyone laugh, because he is the sweetest dog! Owen is funny, playful, and can sometimes be a velcro dog. Owen has puppy energy, so he gets bursts of energy and loves having the zoomies! A patient and calm family would be best for Owen, as he can sometimes get scared easily by thinks like garage doors or being alone in a yard. We're not quite sure what happened in his past, so patience and understanding is the best environment for this sweet little guy. Owen also can be a vocal pup, he might surprise you with his voice, but he is mostly being dramatic for things like treats or toys. Owen is a smart cookie and already knows commands like "sit" and "wait" and is crate trained! We require an adoption application to be completed in its entirety. Any application with questions not answered fully will not be considered complete and will not be processed.2. We check your references and process your application.3. Phone/email interview - we notify you that we have received your application and go over any areas of concern or speak to you more about the dog in which you are applying for.4. Set up a meet and greet - this can be at an adoption event, in your home or at the fosters home. 5. Pet meet and greet - we make sure your current pets and your potential new family member are a good match! If you are adopting a dog that is currently with either of our trainers, we will have you bring your dog(s) to our trainer for the meet and greet. **We will not adopt a dog into a situation we do not believe the dog can handle. The dogs are our #1 priority.6. Finalize the adoption - sign the adoption contract and pay adoption fee - we accept cash or check. Your adoption fee covers all vaccinations, fecal test, heartworm test, etc as well as spay/neuter and microchipping.
