Each puppy has a different genetic makeup, even though they are all the same generation (F2, which is half newfoundland, and half poodle.) Some puppies may take after the newfoundland, and have straighter coats that resemble to pure newfoundland. Some will be curlier and absolutely not shed, similar to the poodle. The Grandparent gene factors in as well meaning that if a puppy takes after one of their newfoundland grandparents, they could easily weigh over the 80 pound average. The weights above are the parents weights averaged out to give everyone a general understanding of weight! The smallest female could weigh 55 pounds, the largest male could weigh 95+! We like for everyone to choose their puppy based on personality and general dream look of what they desire for their new family addition!
