Meet Penny, a 2 year old, 13lb female chihuahua/dachshund mix looking for her forever home! Penny was a street dog who wound up pregnant & ended up in rescue. It took her puppies getting adopted for Penny to finally try figuring out how to dog. She can be slow to warm up to other dogs, but she has done well with pack she shares a foster home with. Penny is still learning how to play, but she thoroughly enjoys playing with the 45lb puppy she lives with. Penny is very, very shy around people, but time has really made her warm up. Once she’s less shy, Penny loves to give kisses and cuddle at night.
