Meet the precious one-eyed Pixie! She came to the rescue frightened and unsure of everything. Now she’s the sweetest little 10 pound chihuahua mix who just wants to cuddle with her human! She loves her foster sisters, and she has mastered the doggy door. Pixie loves to sleep snuggled next to you, but she also doesn’t mind sleeping in her doggy bed on the floor. She is still working on potty training and she is fine in the crate. She will need a couple of days to get used to you, and she can be an escape artist until then, so she needs to have a close eye on her the first few days. She will also need time to bond to her human as she occasionally shies away from her foster mom, but she just wants to be loved and held and she wants to find her person! Pixie is a senior gal about 8.5 years old and can’t wait to find a forever home to enjoy her golden years!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats.
