Name: Banzai Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd and Plott Hound mix Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of January 2024 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 28 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get her freedom ride up here! Special adoption considerations: You may notice Banzai has some hair loss – have no fear! She is being treated for demodex which is a non-contagious form of mange triggered by a weak immune system. She will have a shiny coat in no time! Banzai is Looking For: Her forever home! This young girl came to us looking quite scraggly. She has firmly closed that chapter, though, and is eagerly looking forward to her new one. The one where she gets her own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures her family can dream up. She hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet and is looking forward to making new pup and people pals along the way. Exploring all the toys to see what she likes best, quality kibble, and a cushy dog bed are on her wish list as well.
