Priscilla is a very special little girl, about a year old and weighing in at just under 7 lbs. She came from a very rough situation, but is just full of potential with a patient and loving home. She is very fearful and cautious, but also food-motivated, so a perfect candidate for bribery to earn her trust. She twirls with happiness when it's time to eat... her favorite time of day! Priscilla has been spayed, and lost one of her eyes due to a past trauma. We think she feels so much better now, and is healing well from both surgeries. She enjoys the company of other canines, and so at least one small companion dog will be required in her forever home, as well as a fenced in yard for her security. She is also fine with cats. Priscilla can be a barker, so she is not recommended for an apartment. She is trained to use potty pads and does pretty well in this area. Any adopter should understand that Priscilla is a project dog. She has made consistent progress in her foster home, so we know she will get there. Yes, she will definitely need time and patience to reach her potential, but she is young and deserves that opportunity to have a full life. She is spayed, chipped, vaccinated, heart worm negative and ready for her next chapter to begin. Priscilla is being fostered in Vero Beach, FL, and any adopter should be willing to drive to get her, however far works for you.
