Puppies don't come any sweeter than Margaret! Margaret, also known as Maggie, is 14 weeks old and a bundle of love. She is always the first puppy to snuggle up when it is time for a nap and will make sure you never nap alone. When she isn't cuddling with her people, Maggie is on the lookout for all things fun. She loves to explore the backyard and will often wander off to go find some good smells. Maggie weighs about 15lbs and will likely be around 40-50lbs when fully grown. Maggie was surrendered to us with her 7 siblings after the previous family had an unintentional litter of puppies and needed help finding the puppies good homes. Maggie's mom is an Australian cattle dog and her dad is a pug. Maggie has been in a foster home with her sister Lily, but she is looking for a forever home of her own. Maggie is the perfect mix of crazy puppy and chill couch potato and will make sure to keep you on your feet with her love of playtime. She is looking for an active home that can keep her busy mind and body enriched but also wants a cuddly puppy to spend downtime with. Maggie is a smart, food-motivated girl and has already learned her name, and how to sit and come when called. Maggie has done great with a variety of dogs and could be a great little sister to another playful dog. She also could do well as an only dog as long as she has lots of doggie friends. We haven't seen Maggie around cats, but she may do well with dog-savvy cats with a slow introduction and proper supervision. Maggie could be a great addition to a family with kids 7 years and older. Maggie is still working on her housetraining but has been making great progress. Her new family will need to be patient with her while she is learning and expect accidents. She has been doing well with her crate training and will sleep through the night in her crate. She has always been with her sister, so she will need some time to adjust to being on her own and needs a family with a schedule that will allow Lily to slowly be acclimated to being home alone.
