Meet Sully who was born at a saw mill to a stray momma dog. Once he and his seven siblings were old enough, they started wondering around the mill and getting under the dangerous equipment. The litter was rescued by a kind lady who took them home and contacted Critter Cavalry for help. He was born approximately 9/29/23 and is currently 20 pounds and is expected to a large breed dog averaging 85-100 pounds according to the dog weight calculator. He is a beautiful soft, long haired pup that will require regular brushing. Sully is the sweetest puppy who often has a smile on his face! He loves attention and can be a little mouthy with his foster moms hands but only when he wants her attention away from his siblings. He spends his days playing, napping, and chewing on sticks. He could be a water dog because he loves splashing in his water bowl. He does well with getting a bath and sits good for toenail dremeling. He is good around all dogs, and shows no aggression toward cats although he does get excited and wants to play with them. Sully loves everyone that he meets and most certainly will be a gentle giant. He will make a great pet for a family with or without children. The Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherds are both bred to be the guardian of livestock. They are widely described as being gentle giants. Great with kids and mix well with any family animal if socialized early. They are both intelligent and independent breeds that need training to keep them from becoming bored. Their breeds represent a calm, well mannered but serious dogs with great devotion to family. They love the cold weather and enjoy being outdoors and all too often due to the breed, are left outdoors with little interaction. Sully is looking for a family who will raise him as a pet and not a working livestock dog. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.
