These dogs are excellent with children! Rocky Valley Farm has bred both breeds for a long time. In recent years it has been requested to blend them to encourage a more protective instinct in the Newf. We have done so very successfully and now these guys are in demand. They are sired by an AKC registered stud. He is a large, very handsome and devoted pyr who is excellent with our grandchildren. These dogs are also very aerial aware in that they protect the air space above as well including drone awareness. If you are looking for newfoundland temperament with extra protective instinct then these are the pups for you.
