Quiet Girl is the kind of puppy that will easily discern between friend or foe, and be faithfully loyal to only the members of the family. She needs time to warm up to strangers. It will take her a few days to learn about her future family once she's adopted, but once she makes that bond with you, it will be forever. She is 100% a guardian. She is gentle, obedient, and as sweet as can be. She is a kind, quiet lover. Her sister is much bigger and bossier than she is, but she holds her own easily. Quiet Girl inherited a merle coat from her mother; her face stripe, speckled white chest, and marbled body set her apart and make her unique. She is somewhere between her brother's lighter tan sable color and her sister's deep red sable color. She has a thick and luxurious coat, but since she is short haired, her coat will require less maintenance than a purebred long haired Tibetan Mastiff. She has been raised around children and is great around my little ones. Crate trained! Leash broken! Acclimated to living both inside the house and to being a guardian. They will go out the dog door and spend a considerable amount of time outside; they love to sun themselves and just chill on the patio for hours. They're so well behaved! While at the temple they were raised around many other interesting animals including peacocks and ostriches. Yes, you are welcome to come visit and meet them and their mom! This puppy is a once-in-a-lifetime genetic combination; a first generation cross between a Tibetan Mastiff and a Catahoula Leopard dog. This puppy was bred and born at the Buddhist Temple and raised according to their beliefs and practices. I have vaccinated and dewormed these puppies myself in accordance with *proper* breeding practices, however. This litter will be the only of their kind, as I now have the mother and she is going to be spayed. The monks will surely continue to breed their colony of Tibetan Mastiffs without my beautiful Catahoula girl in the mix.
