Meet Rachel! This sweet girl appears to have been dumped for some reason. The finders contacted the owners on her microchip and they hung up. The people who found her can't believe someone could give her up because she's SO sweet and well behaved. She's house trained, walks great on a leash, and she doesn't jump up on people. She has excellent manners. According to her microchip, Rachel is 8 years old. She looks like a collie/shepherd mix and she weighs 47 pounds. She'd love to find a loving forever home where the people are home a lot or with another doggy companion!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Petfinder lists our pets as ''Out of Town'' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
