Randy is a happy chiweenie that was tearfully surrendered by his owner who could no longer take care of him. He is the sweetest little guy. He weighs about 13 pounds and is 18 months old. Randy gets along with other dogs, kids and cats. He would be a good dog for anyone. Randy is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm, flea and parasite preventive. His adoption fee is a foundation to the rescue in the amount of $600. Other requirements are approval of application; adoption fees and contract. Adoption fees are tax deductible donations payable via PayPal or check made to Fairy Dogmother Rescue & Rehab, Inc. Cash is accepted also. Fees for long distance adoptions are payable thru PayPal (small service fee applies). Adoption fees are donations that support the rescue and make it possible to save, house, provide vet care and find homes for as many small dogs as possible. Fees provide for all the 50+ dogs at Fairy Dogmother, not just the dog being adopted. Most fees are $450 (seniors, some big dogs or long timers could be lower). All FDM dogs are safe on premises until adopted, are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, maintained on monthly heartworm and flea preventive. There is no time limit for adoption.Shelter locationThe rescue is located in Baileyton, AL at the home of founder/director, Glenda Wilhite. Dogs are seen by appointment. Application to meet or adopt is required before appointments are scheduled or our address or directions provided.
