Hi, I'm Rayne!From Rayne's foster mom:Rayne came to PLL near death from undetected and untreated worms. She has undergone two surgeries and 2 balloon procedures to correct her condition. Her health is much improved and she is now very playful and extremely smart. She is quick to learn obedience commands. She sits like a lady before she gets her meals and treats. She knows sit, come , off and stay. She's learning down. Rayne is likely 3 to 4 months old with floppy ears and green eyes. She is eager to play and learn but the dogs at her foster home are older pups and can't keep up with frisky Rayne. She's doing well with her potty training, but goes frequently due to her former illness. She's transitioning from paper training to using the potty outside. She gets along well with other dogs and CATS! She would likely do best where she'd have a fenced yard for bathroom needs and with someone who will patiently continue to nurse her back to health.Rayne is very athletic and can climb and leap with ease. At night she goes into her crate without barking or whining. She eats a mixture of wet and dry food that is gentle on her recovering digestive system.Adoption processCats and kittens are $100Dogs and puppies start at $150Adoption fees include their spay or neuter, all vaccinations appropriate for their age and they are microchipped.All prospective adopters are required to complete an application and go through a short interview process. Once approved the adoption fees are paid and the adopter is able to bring the pet home the same day.Please note that you must be 21 years of age to adopt.Shelter locationPawmetto Lifeline is open for adoptions Monday-Friday 12 noon-7 pmSaturday 10 am-7 pmSunday 12 noon-5 pm.
