Hello there and thank you for stopping by to check out my bio! My name is Reagan, and I'm a proud member of the President's Day gang that came to MVPC. And boy, am I glad I made it here! In my previous life I was overbred, and then unceremoniously dumped when they were done with me. I arrived about 30 lbs underweight, covered in cuts and scratches, and sporting a broken leg. Luck for me I got to meet a great Vet, and a really nice foster family who feeds me regularly and gives me lots of attention. My leg and my wounds are all healed now, and I'm up to my appropriate weight. I think I turned out pretty well! I adore humans of all sizes, and love to snuggle up and give kisses. I have also made a bunch of new doggy friends that I enjoy playing with. If everyone is busy, I am totally content to chomp on a chew toy. I'm a quiet girl and excellent in my crate. I'm housebroken and doing great learning my commands. As much as I like it here, I would love to find a family of my own to look after. Could it be you? I promise lots of loves and kisses. PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!Adoption processOur adoption fees are $250 for adult dogs, and $350 for puppies 5mo and under. Adoption fees may be more or less depending on breed, special needs, etc. This covers all vetting and allows us to take on hard cases. You will receive a "received" auto response with further information. We do not adopt out littermates together. We are a 100% foster-based, volunteer rescue so we are not able to respond to every inquiry about a dog (though we try) and we will respond to a request for an application or if one is submitted through our website. Please allow 72 hours for us to respond, and please check your spam/junk mail folder first, then send us an email if you believe we have not responded! Since we are foster-based, we have no centralized facility to visit. All of our dogs live in private homes as members of their respective foster families. We require a physical fence for most dogs. Once approved, we bring the dog to your home for a home visit.
