Rex is full of love and ready to spend some time in a foster home while he is recovering. Reason for Foster: Heartworm treatmentFoster Time Frame: 2 weeks Foster Care Plan: Rex has already had his first heartworm treatment and is awaiting his second treatment on 2/6. He will go home with medication and will have rechecks scheduled with the medical team. While he is going through treatment it is important that he is kept as calm as possible and avoids any activity that would quickly increase his heart rate. We will provide resources and a medical consult at pickup so you feel fully prepared to care for this sweet boy. I am available through our Foster to Adopt program. This program helps pets awaiting or under medical treatment be placed in with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
