Roger (AKA Big Daddy) is a lovable goofball who will melt your heart with his big, brown eyes! This adorable chunk is:• Very lovable• A good kisser• HilariousHe loves toys and pig ears are his favorite treat! He was recently transferred to our shelter from Adams County Humane Society. He was in that shelter for a long time, so we are giving him a chance at a forever home in Kentucky. So far, he has been disinterested in the other dogs at our shelter. His previous shelter reported he is dog-selective. We will continue to assess this during playgroups. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and available for adoption, foster, or rescue. Apply now!Adoption processThanks to the EnviroFlight Fur-ever Home Adoption Sponsorship Program, the adoption fee is $40 for adult dogs and $60 for puppies under the age of 6 months. The adoption fee includes vaccinations, flea/tick treatment, dewormer, and spay/neuter. Please check each dog's profile for sponsored, discounted, and/or $0 adoption fees. If you adopt an unaltered dog, you must agree to have the animal spayed/neutered at the veterinarian of your choice as soon as possible and within 3 months of adoption. We ask that the animal will be kept as a pet and treated humanely after adoption.Shelter locationGuests are welcome to visit and spend time with the animals. We encourage all guests to schedule appointments by calling and speaking with the staff. The Mason County Animal Shelter is located at 301 River Drive, Maysville, KY 41056 and has the following public hours of operation: MONDAY: CLOSEDTUESDAY: 11 AM to 4:30 PM WEDNESDAY: 11 AM to 4:30 PMTHURSDAY: 11 AM to 4:30 PM FRIDAY: 11 AM to 4:30 PMSATURDAY: 11 AM to 3:30 PMSUNDAY: CLOSEDAdoptions will be processed during public hours.
