Say hello to Roscoe! A handsome, large, ~pure bred~ pound hound with the most wonderful personality! This boy is a lovable goof at the shelter. He leans in for pets, gives great kisses, does well with basic commands, and walks great with his freedom harness. He loves car rides, long walks in the park, ball chasing, and the occasional vanilla ice cream. Roscoe does have special behavioral needs once he gets into a home and will need someone experienced, dog savvy, and willing to provide him with continued training in a home.Adoption processWe request a donation of $275 for dogs, $450 for puppies, $125 for cats, and $150 for kittens. The adoption donation is put towards the cost of feeding, spaying or neutering, de-worming, testing, vet care and vaccinating your new pet. All pets are microchipped.Shelter locationWe are located at 2489 Albany Post Rd. Walden, NY 12586 We are open 7 days a week from 12am-4pm. We have many wonderful animals for adoption. We also have cats available for adoption at the Middletown and Monroe Petsmarts.
