UPDATE! Meet Beautiful Rosie! This sweet girl is a 1.5 year old gorgeous black lab. She weighs just under 50lbs. Rosie is a wonderful girl but sadly is being surrendered because of the older dog in the home having chronic medical issues due to screws in his back and they worry with Rosie’s playful nature he could get hurt! They state Rosie is wonderful. She’s great in the home and with all people and animals. She’s your typical younger and active lab. She would thrive in a home with a playmate her age and size, kids or an active individual as she’s always up for an adventure. She does well in her crate and truly is beyond sweet. Rosie is utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and spayed! Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals. All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. We do NOT adopt on a first come first serve basis, but to the home we fill is the best fit for that particular animal of there are multiple applicants. The adoption fee is $150 for all animals which includes all age appropriate shots, wormer, heart worm test if of age, rabies if of age, spay/neuter, monthly preventatives while in our care, and any other medical attention that may be needed.Shelter locationAll of our dogs are in foster homes, but we are very easy and flexible to set an appointment up with to meet one of our animals once the adoption application is approved. We also participate regularly at adoption events with other local rescues.
