Rottweiler Dog for Adoption in Ogden, Utah, 84404 USNickname: REMINGTON Posted Breed: Rottweiler (medium coat). REPORTED BY FORMER OWNER: Remi is an inside/outside dog. He is crate trained and house trained and good being left alone for up to 6 hours per day. He walks pretty well on the leash and knows the sit and stay commands. He was brought in to the shelter because he is picky/fearful of other friends. He previously lived with another dog, but it was hit and miss with how they got along. Remi has a high energy level and enjoys playing with toys. OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Remi is a sweet and obedient dog; he is eager to please. Heâs treat motivated, but grabby when taking them from your hand; caution will need to be used if around young children with food. He previously lived with younger children, but was a bit rough with them. He would do well with older, dog-savvy children. Heâs a very affectionate dog that likes chewing on dog-safe toys. He would most likely chase a cat unless trained not to and has been reactive toward the other dogs here at the shelter. Weighs 64 pounds; $25 to adopt.
