Rottweiler Mix Dog for Adoption in Bandera, Texas, 78249 USNickname: Chonk Posted Breed: Rottweiler / Shepherd / Mixed (short coat). Welcome Chonk to CCPAL foster program. He is a German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix is our best guess. He is 3 to 4 years old and weighs about 60lbs. He was found near a home as a stray that is a common dumping ground for dogs. This good Samaritan has asked CCPAL to help find Chonk a forever home. He is good with other dogs and walks well on leash. He is potty trained. He loves to be next to you laying on the couch or floor next to you. He is also a fan of playing in the yard outside. He takes treats like a gentleman and has never shown any food aggression. He has learned sit and shake a pay since we have had him. He doesn’t mind his nails being cut and takes treats like a gentleman. He has never shown any food aggression. He is learning kennel training and has great recall. He is a well-rounded dog and would be great in just about any home. The family could be moderately active to very active and he would be a good fit. He is healthy, vaccinated and will be neutered soon and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200.
