Meet Roxanne! She is a 2 year old Pit Bull mix who weighs 50 pounds. Roxanne can be a sensitive girl at first, but after a few treats she is eager to jump in your lap for some love. She likes to take time to know you, but once she knows you, she is a friend for life! Roxanne is a smart girl who enjoys learning new tricks and loves going for long walks outside. She shows potential to live in a home with another dog if they're a good fit, but she prefers a slow introduction. Due to her initial sensitivity, if there are children in her forever home they need to be ages 13 and older. If Roxanne sounds like the perfect fit, give us a call at 330-487-XXXX ext 226 to learn more about her and schedule a time to come in and meet!Adoption processAll of our adoptable animals are up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, de-wormed, de-flea and microchipped before adoptions are finalized. All dogs over six months of age receive a temperament assessment by our Certified Professional Dog Trainer to ensure appropriate placement. Also, many animals in our care receive basic obedience training to improve manners and increase adoptability. We are currently doing adoptions by appointment only. Adoption Fees:Dogs6 months or under: $1756 months to 5 years: $1256 years or older (or special needs): $50 Cats6 months or under: $75 (or two kittens for $100)6 months to 5 years: $506 years or older (or special needs): $20 Senior to Senior Program: For adopters age 60 or older, adoption fees are reduced to $15 if the animal is 3 years or older. This service is made possible through the Pets for the Elderly Foundation. You will be asked to provide proof of age.
