This special boy is in search of a special home! He was recently surrendered due to his owner’s living situation changing, and he has had a VERY hard time adjusting. Rufus needs an incredible amount of love and patience, as his anxiety is almost debilitating for him. He’s slowly starting to open up and show us his sweet personality, but he has a long road ahead. We’re hoping to find him a calm home with someone able to spend lots of time with him to reassure him that he’s loved. Rufus would do best as an only animal in the house. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice.
