Hello, my name is Rufus. I'm very affectionate and follow you everywhere. I'm have been around cats and dogs because my foster mom makes sure that I'm exposed so that I can acclimate well in my forever home. I love to play and still love to chew anything I see, so lots of chew toys are greatly appreciated. I have learned several basic commands like sit, potty and come. I am food motivated, so plenty of treats to reward my good habits are greatly appreciated. I'm currently working on potty training and doing well when I'm brought out to the grass regularly. My adoption fee is $350 locally in Houston, TX and it includes all my age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter and microchip. Our goal is to make the best match for both the adopting family and the pet. Applications are NOT considered on a first come first served basis. Following an initial meet and great, potential adopters must pass a home inspection and sleepovers are strongly encouraged to ensure a perfect fit. Upon approval, the adoptive family is required to pay a fee and sign an adoption agreement. Fees are $200 for a puppy under a year and $150 for adults and include spay/neuter, current vaccines, microchip and many wonderful years of companionship.Shelter locationOur adoptable pets are in Foster homes. You can meet them once you have an approved application on file by scheduling an appointment or join us for one of our many meet and greet events.
