Rusty is an active adult. He loves to be outside going for walks and runs. Whatever you're doing, he wants to help! He is a lean boy weighing just under 60 pounds. He came in as a stray and went unclaimed, so he is now searching for his second chance. He is roughly 5 years old, and knows basic commands. We believe he was a hunting dog at some time in his life, as he has his 'treeing' and 'pointing' stance down pretty pat. He is a big love bug. Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice.
